Just wanted to show you my new bike…are you ready?????????

This is my bike

Yup, there it is.  In all its glory.  Isn’t it a beauty????  Bought it on Monday, my husband and a buddy from work went Wednesday evening to pick it up.  I look at it and I’m so proud of it.

But something is sooooooooooo wrong with this picture.   ITS STILL IN THE DARN BOX. :(    :(      :(

Maybe this weekend Alan says…he’s going to try to get it assembled.  I’m going nuts here….frustrated…and very impatient.

Oh well, good things come to those who wait.

Love, Hugs, Blessings to all my Buddys

ROFL!!! I was all excited to see it - THE BOX!!! Take it out mama Jane! Or else I will get on a plane, fly to Michigan and do it for you! :)

Darn, have to wait for Allen to do it. Fax me the instructions and we can do it over the phone together! :)

Bwaaaaaaahahahaha… I was so EXCITED to “see” it.

Jane, don’t you have a suzy homemaker toolbox. I have one that all the tools are flower handled. Keeps the men in my house away from it. LOL

Here’s what I do. I start dragging stuff out of the box, laying out all the nuts and bolts, get my suzy homemaker tool box out, spread out the instructions, and start working on it. Within SECONDS my husband is in there to help me… cuz you know… he knows how to do EVERYTHING better than me. hehe… works like a charm every time.

I dare you to wait till Alan comes home, then sit on the box and straddle it… start peddling…

    LMAOOOOOOOOOO

    Huggggggggggggggggs sweetie,
    Shan

OH no the box  I wouldn’t be able to wait but wouldn’t be able to put it together either. ;) I don’t have the patient to wait for my hubby to “find” the time to get something done. So: I make sure hubby can see my and I just start doing it myself (pretending I know what I am doing ;) ) and you know men, can’t stand the thought that a woman can actually get something built, so they jump in and ….. finish it! :D

Bah, the instructions are generally useless anyway! Dump all the parts out of the box and give it a go on your own, swear when it’s all upside down and backwards, THEN go read the directions and start over. That’s the way most men will do it anyway! :)

If I have asked David to help me with something, I usually feel like I should be able to do it, then I start and he always jumps in. Sometimes I want him too ;). I think you should open it up and start playing grown up Lego….hehe. You will have your bike in no time. Have fun. I want one too… ;) Enjoy!

That’s the purdiest picture of a bike I’ve ever seen LOL
I loved the girls ideas aobut ‘putting it together yourself so he’ll jump in and take over’ that’s a sure way to get your bike put together!
I can’t wait til the weather is warmer to bike ride.

Jane girl! You had me hanging for this!!! Sorry it took me so long to reply. Went home from work sick yesterday and I’m only now getting caught up on some blogs. Hmmmm…well, you know from my experience with men (one in particular this week) that I wouldn’t wait for Alan to do it for you. Show your independence…steal his tools…get out the instructions…and get it done. You will probably get it done faster and with less “extra parts” than he would. Hehehe
