A Touching Christmas Concert With My Little Sister

Hello BuddySlimmers :)  Hope all are well today.  As I read blogs, I can see some people struggle.   I’m sorry but we are all here for you!!!

Last night my husband and I attended my “little sisters” Christmas Concert.  It was so much fun, remember my son is 21 so its been a longgggggggggg time for me.  I laughed I cried…I tapped my foot and just had fun. I stepped down from being an official Big Sister, but haven’t forgotten Katelin.  I’ve been to her birthday party, she’s been to Angelas baby shower, we’ve talked on the phone.  I will stay in touch with her forever :)

So at the concert they sang songs from Charlie Browns Christmas, The Grinch, and one of my favorites…”Grandma got run over by a reindeer”  Molly which is Katelins friend has down syndrome. She was all dressed in a pretty long green dress, she didn’t do much singing but she brought tears to my eyes.  These are gods children…and each so precious.  But my Katelin, she was just a singin away!!!  So after the concert my Husband wanted to go through a fast food.  He was hoping Kentucky Fried Chicken, and I said maybe we could just find something at home!!!  I did it, I did resist the tempation.  One day at a time.

Love you all…..Have a Great Evening :)

    How precious is that!

Jane, it must have been so hard for you to step down with the Big Sister thing. I didn’t know. I’m sooooooo glad you are still in her life though, and knowing you, you will be forever. :)

Colton is in the choir at school for the first time this year, and I get to go see their Christmas concert next week. I can’t wait!!

A man walked into a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Jamaica and “passed out” on the floor. People gathered around to help him by fanning and doing everything they could to help him regain conciousness.

Someone peeled an orange and started squeezing the juice into his mouth, whereupon the man suddenly came back to life, pushed the person away and yelled, “Luk yah man! If me did want orange, me woulda fall down in
    de market.”

    Have a GREAT day Jane!
    Huggggggggggggggggggggggggggs,
    Shan

I didn’t know you stepped down from being a Big Sister Jane. I bet that was hard, but knowing you, you will be in her life forever anyway.

I get to see Colt perform in school choir concert for the first time next week. Can’t wait!

Miss Jane, I’m so glad that you have stayed in Katelin’s life. I’m so excited for when Paige starts doing Christmas concerts! I got goosesbumps reading your blog today. I have missed you so much as well and I’m slowly trying to get active again. I dropped my pain meds in the dishwater last night though so it’s gonna take a bit longer than I first anticipated. LOL. Oh well :)
