Have you had your Hug today?

Givin You This HugGood Morning BuddySlimmers out there!!

This is an excerpt from Chicken Soup for the Soul, I thought you might enjoy this today :)

Hugging is healthy.  It helps the immune system, cures depression, reduces stress and induces sleep.  It’s invigorating, rejuvenating and has no unpleasant side effects. Hugging is nothing less than a miracle drug.

Food for thought:

When have you needed a hug the most?

Who gave it to you?

I for one am such a big hugger.  My children are also.  I grew up in a family that didn’t hug often.  In my opinion its such an important part of growing up.  Little Talan loves to hug!!! He’s the type who wraps his little arms around you then his hand does the little “pat pat” thingy…LOL!!! You just kinda melt from his hugs!!!

So today is a lighthearted type of blog.  Getting reading to get my walk on the treadmill done.  Planning a healthy dinner and trying so hard to stay on track with my new healthy journey (I’ve strayed away a few times this week :(

Had my blood taken last week to check my cholesterol.  Waiting patiently for the results!! Hope they turn out well!!!  Hope everyone is happy and feeling healthy today.  Love you all so much!!!

If you learn to hug while walking Jane, THAT would be something. Just kidding. I am checking your blogs every time to see if you mention walking on a treadmill. You are doing great with planning exercising and TRYING to eat healthy. Don’t make me food police Jane, haha, stop trying, just eat healthy.

Have a wonderful Thursday my friend.

I love to give out hugs. This was not true when hubby and I were first married. My family was not one of those huggy families. When his family had get big get togethers, and people started to leave and started hugging each other I would go hide in the bathrooom. When we started having children of our own that is when my ” Hugging Feelings” started and I have been hugging ever since.
Great job walking on your treadmill and planning a healthy dinner!
    Biggest HUGS!
