The Blessings just keep coming
Buddys of mine, I’m so convinced if you have a strong faith in god your life will fall into place. His plan is a divine plan, made up uniquely for each one of us. No 2 plans are the same. When life seems to be overwhelming, just quietly ask “God please take over and help me” and I promise you will see miracles.
Yesterday was probably the best day In along time. I’ve always wanted to be a Big Sister and its finally going to happen. The home visit went very well and my worker had brought out files for 2 little girls in my neighborhood. One girl is 7 and the other is 12. For now I choose the 7 year old….God just seemed to direct me to her.
I had my chili cooking in the kitchen, but received a surprise phone call from my husband. He said “Honey?? how would you like to go out for a steak dinner tonight?’ LOL!!! well duh!!!! Of course!! the chili can wait, in fact it tastes better after a couple of days anyways!! So after the home visit I met hubby at work and off to dinner we went. Had a wonderful time, I’m so blessed to have a husband that doubles as my best friend “happy sigh”
I’ll be cooking dinner to bring to Dads tonight. I Choose a healthy pork loin, baked acorn squash, lima beans (good fiber!!) mashed potates (made with skim milk) and fresh pineapple for dessert. This is one of Dads favs.
So for now, I’m off to the doctor, still trying to get the medications balanced. Although I’m feeling better these past 2 weeks then I”ve felt in a long time. Seems life is finally settling down a bit and I can focus more on getting healthy and staying healthy!!!

My husband and I were invited to a reuinion of the “Park” it was a huge chat site. We met some friends from online, had fun!!!

I agree with you on the faith. Even thought my family is going through some rough times (my mom and dad getting a divorce) everything else for all of us is falling into place. It makes me believe that there is a reason and a plan. I also am blessed with a hubby/best friend. He does draw the line though when I want to do his hair or nails. I enjoyed your blog!!
God is always a blessing to have in your life. I am so thankful for him being in mine. He gives me the strengrh to accomplished anything that may come my way. GOD IS GOOD..I am so happy that you got a Big Sister and your husband is such a blessing for you. How sweet it was for him to take you out and chili always taste better the next day.
