A Happy Tuesday Morning to All!

Woke up today with a big ole grin on my face.  Feeling ready to tackle anything that comes my way. Can’t say I’ve felt quite this positive in a long time :)

Its decided that my husband and I will bring dinner next door Tuesdays and Thursdays and eat with my Dad.  I’m looking so forward to that.  The other nights we will still go and visit.  Can’t imagine not seeing him everyday.

Now time to get back at a healthy menu.  I love a challenge so today is full of them.

I’ll write menus for the rest of the week, work some on my Medical Transcriptionist studies, clean house a little more.  Wow, seems like I have so much more time now.

I’ll get on the walker while All My Children is on.  I’ll do my best to stay on for an hour, but if I only stay 30 mins I’ll take that !!! :0)

And the most exciting news is….READY??????????? Drum Roll  BRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr….I will be having a home visit tommorrow to become a Big Sister.  I’ve always wanted to be a Big Sister and finally called and filled out the application.  So far the background check is complete, the driving record is complete, references I think? and we need a home visit.  I’ll need to run the vac and just pick up some.  Overall my house is generally clean.  When you don’t have little ones running around, things stay picked up! Soooooooooo I’m geeked, can’t wait to be a Big Sister!! They said in Michigan right now there are over 400 little ones looking for a Big Brother/Big Sister.  I’m so glad I can be part of such a wonderful organization.

In my cleaning I ran across this wonderful little book “Faith’s Little Instruction Book Daily Calendar (Supercharged Quotes to Blast Doubt Out of Your life)

Lets see how we like it ok?

And the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.

James 5:15

Faith means being grasped by a power that is greater than we are, a power that shakes us and turns us, and transforms and heals us.

Paul Tillich, 1955

Love and Hugs to All.  Have a Happy, Safe Day!!

Awesome job. I am so excited for you being a little sister. Wish I could do that, just can’t deal with it financially right now…Things are just a tad tight. So you are an All My Children fan too. I keep up with three but it is mostly just checking up on the recaps so that when I do get a day at home, I can know what the heck is going on!!! have a good one Jane…good to hear from you

    Hello Jane….
Your Dad is so fortunate to have you and your husband in his life. Love, and take good care of him, he is the only Dad you’ll ever have.

And, some lucky little child will have a great “Big Sister” to look up to and see a great example of kindness.
