Oprah Fans
Happy Thursday Buddys!! Anyone see Oprah yesterday? It was a life changing show for many. Jo had spoke of a book on one of her blogs….it was “The Secret” I rememer many commenting good about if , and I checked it out at my book store. I was disappointed in the price, at that time they only offered a hard cover or audio version. A little pricey for me that day.
After watching Oprah, I felt like I had this “lightbulb moment” For those that watched the show will probably understand what I’m saying.
So between the encouragement of my wonderful husband…(god love him for his patience while I go through this menopausal time of life) and all the love and motivation from my buddys here I WILL BE OK!!
One day at a time for sure…like I preach to my buddys, but what I learned first and foremost is to search deep within for what I REALLY want in life.
I know what that is, but I’m not about to say it until I achieve it. Health is on top of the list…buying the book “The Secret” is top priority. Oprah also is featuring a book for the month…I believe it is “The New Earth” She is offeriing on-line classes for free. Just read along your book and come on line to Oprah.com. Sounds fun to me!!!
Ok, I have soooooooooo much to do today. Must scrub floors and babyproof the house for my sweet little Talan will be here tommorrow..YIPPEE!!! Now thats the best gift God could give me…my little grandson is my sunshine on a cold day, hes a piece of my heart everyday. I probably won’t sleep a wink tonight…LOL!!! I’ll post some new updated pictures tommorrow or Saturday!!!

Off to the treadmill!!! 10 minutes at a time (advice well taken from buddys) then maybe enjoy another cup of sugar free hot cocoa with a re-read of a favorite story “wink”

I absolutely LOVE “The Secret” and try to use it in my daily life. It’s a very positive message. To be honest, when I first read it I wasn’t too sure how it all worked but i used it anyway. Within weeks I was feeling great, no depression, no more self hate, it was wonderful. Now I don’t know for sure if it was the secret but I do know that that book gave me a new way of looking at things. A more positive outlook on my life. I recommend you buy it. Look online for it, much cheaper. I bought mine for only $12.00 online.
YEA Jane! You know, even in the rough and down days you are still shining - now you’re just getting brighter again! That book sounds interesting - let me know what you think when you get it! And, go for what you really want!!!! I need to do that, too

Didn’t they make “The Secret” into a movie or documentary or something? Seems like I’ve heard of it. I don’t get to watch Oprah (unless I’m home sick or something), but really admire the woman.
Now whisper in my ear what it is you really REALLY want in life… I promise I won’t tell anyone… LOL

I have the secret book and the dvd and it is absolutely powerful and the truth. It’s mostly thinking postive and believing having the faith and determination to do what you want with yourlife! It;s a great motivator and has a good section on weight loss in it too! All the best to you!
I didn’t watch Oprah, and although when I first learned of The Secret I wanted to buy it, I am now trying to stay away from gurus, including Dr. Phil & Oprah. Right now I need to find MYself, and no one else can help me find ME other than ME…hehehe!! Maybe later on. Anyhow, if you do get the book, let me know. And by the way, I saw it really cheap on Amazon.com! Oh Janet, I am really excited for you…I love those Ah-ha moments…are they not the best?
Oh yeah and when you’re ready to share your innermost desires for your life…I am willing to listen and share the moment with you!
Oprah may be the most influential person/woman of our time. Can not think of another who is more powerful and brilliant. She shares to so many and I do not think there are too many places on the planet where people have not heard of her. I am sure there are, but ya know what I mean. I am now reading A New Earth because of her. I am finally now taping her shows every week and then I will watch the shows the interest me on the weekend.
