Quick Question

Has anyone here at BuddySlim heard of or tried the Stillmans Inches Off Diet before?

When I was growing up my mother was really overweight.  She stumbled upon this diet…Stillmans.  I was heavy also, so together we tried the new eating.  I lost over 50 pounds on this eating plan.  My mother lost alot, but also found out during blood work her thyroid wasn’t working which made her gain weight.

Sooooooooooooo I just wanted some input on Stillmans from BuddySlim, or Dr. Marc. 

Hey good news!!!! I’ve already walked on the treadmill 45 minutes, and WE WILL go to the YMCA tonight.  Even if the roads are bad, we’ll just go 20 mph..LOL!! no more excuses.

    Never heard of Stillman…but no more diets for me…not for awhile anyway! Hopefully NEVER again!

    P.S. Kudos to you for doing 45 minutes on the treadmill and for planning to hit the Y later–you rock woman!! And roll! :) Get it? Rock n’ Roll? Ok…I’m obviously a big dork sometimes! LOL!

    Fabulous on the treadmill and no, don’t know it, on the diet. i have to say (becasuse today i am a big mouth:) ) that i think the best diet is what you’re starting: exercise and healthier eating in smaller portions while you pay attn to carbs and salt for that ticker and that pancreas (i think that’s who is involved with the diabetes-type stuff). let us know if you find tho and if it works!

    Jane, you are rocking my world. Ask me how enthusiastic I am RIGHT NOW? You are amazing and I am so proud of you. Keep it up! Hope you had a great time at the gym. I know a little about some diets, but nothing substantial. I think that when we limit ourselves from entire food groups like many diets it leads to deficiencies and cravies. So, I do not know about this diet you talk about, but I understand COMPLETELY the feeling of wanting to find a diet. You do what is best for you and your health. *hugs*

    Completely unfamiliar. Never heard of it. WTG on the treadmill/Y adventure. I must tell you, I am very very jealous of the treadmill. I look out at our roads right now and think… ugh, the gym?? XO Ellen

    I’ve never heard of that diet. Maybe ask your dietician about it?
