god-loves-you-y.gifAnd so do I! Good Morning Buddys.  Its almost 40 degrees and raining here.  Yuck…all the snow is melting and its muddy out.  Isn’t this January???

One good thing about the snow melting is my husband and I will go outside to walk today.  The treadmill gets so boring.  We live on a cul-de-sac and will make a few trips up and down the road.

Yesterday was a productive day.  We packed up a care package for my daughter,  bought diapers for my sweet Talan and delivered it to her work.  She was very thankful.  I had to go into my grocery budget to help but I didn’t mind.  We had also picked up some things my dad asked for.  Later that night at dinner I was giving him the change and receipt.  He said “oh honey, keep the change”  It was almost 40 dollars!!!! Just about the amount I spent helping my daughter!! Doesn’t God work in wonderful ways.  I helped my daughter, and without realizing what I’d done, my father helped me….Aaaahhh…life is great.  Have you all counted your blessings yet today?  I did first thing…My list just seems to keep GROWING!!!

Ok…wishing everything a happy healthy day today.

Alphabet Soup for the Soul

Letter F

Faith:  Although much in this world is harsh and hurtful, keep the faith.  Believe in God.  Believe in people.  Archbishop Desmond Tutu, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 for his work against South African apartheid, has seen terrible things in his time.  Yet he insists that his faith in God and in humanity has not been shaken.  “The world is hungry for goodness.  There’s something  in all of us that hungers after the good and the true,” he declares.
