Regroup….Reorganize….Replan
Ok, today is the first day of the rest of your lives!! YAHoo!!! I’m happy and blessed to have today to work more on healthy choices and lifestyles.
I woke up this morning, full smile on my face. Every day is really a new day, but somehow a new year really feels NEW!!!
Yesterday my goal was to take all the Christmas decorations and tree down. Bring in the New Year with a clean house. Mission Accomplished!!!
We had the house to ourselves for a few hours and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Ran to the store, and picked up some munchies for the night.
As always, we were in bed early…LOL!! Can’t remember the last time we stayed up. Guess were getting OLDER….LOL!! I can admit it!!
Lots of new goals to reach. I’m excited and anxious to begin again . The difference this time is I WILL SUCCEED.
Before I leave I want to share something I found in a magazine at the doctors office. Thought some of you might enjoy it.
Alphabet Soup for the Soul
Before children learn to read and write, they first memorize the alphabet. After that, they are equipped to mix and match the letters, which they form into coherent words, sentences, and paragraphs. In a similar way, the alphabet canbe a guide for those who wish to cultivate and deepen their spiritual lives. Here are twenty-six ways of living a more spiritual life based upon the letters of the alphabet.
Audit: Just as churches and other organizations conduct a yearly audit of their books to be certain the organization is financially healthy, consider conducting a spiritual audit of your life to determine that you are spiritually healthy. Do that by prayerfully asking yourself these kinds of questions: Am I pleased with who I am becoming? Is there a quiet, peaceful center in my life? Am I a joyful person? Are others blessed by my words, actions, and presence? Am I becoming less religious and more spiritual?
I love it…healthy bodies…healthy spiritually….happy with life.
Letter B for tommorroow…love to all.

Good blog! Several things to mull over today! Looking forward to the rest of the alphabet. You have all your decorations put away? Oh, honey, run over and help me. Ed and I always put away the decorations today with a big sigh and a grin, happy to be back to our routine. Have a super year and let’s get healthier and more at peace with ourselves. Is that called happiness? Love, Marge
Love your attitude!

Happy New Year!
I love it ! I think you are so right that we have to run an audit on ourselves to make us better people ! Thank you and I look forward to letter B tomorrow ! Kimmi
I agree with you—I LOVE New Years, it feels so happy and shiny!! LOL!! If only we could get this excited about every day in our lives and we really, really should cultivate this everyday excitement…because think about it…isn’t one more day we have here on Earth with our loved ones a true gift from God?
Love the spirituality bit…one of the things I prayed for at midnight, was to get closer to God. I just have an empty hole in my heart, which I know only He can fill! I just don’t know how to initiate that nurturing relationship between the Almighty and myself…any ideas?
Happy ‘08 my wonderful friend!
I too love the peace and quiet.
Everything is connected. What I am loving most is learning why I want to have food in my mouth when I am not hungry. And if I do not know, at least I am wondering WHY.
Love the Alphabet Soup for the soul. More spiritual definitely is helping me even with dealing with everyday life stresses. I am no longer as tight as I use to be. That is progress
