Never go to bed Angry
All night long I was complaining and whining about the doctors appointment I had this morning with my father. I know I know…stop complaining and be thankful for what you have.
I overslept…didn’t want to get up….bi#$%ing all the time. Well something happened. I saw the love in my fathers eyes as I got into the car. His warm smile and genuine “good morning honey” just seemed to make everything right.
I know again why I’m here. If you are going to give, always remember one important thing. Give with a joyous heart!!!!! It feels soooooooooo good to give, but somedays we just get stuck in this rut. Seems like life is overwhelming, but all in all we really need to take “each day” and live it like it was the last day. We don’t have a blueprint for our lives, so BE HAPPY Today!!! Do everything you can and more.
One a positive note, when we have a doctors appointment my dad always insists on taking me out for breakfast. I don’t always behave, but today I did and I feel happy for that choice. Now I keep hearing my name coming from my treadmill..LOL!!!! Ok…so I’ve got to get my walk in. Been slacking really bad these past few days..its time to get back in the game!!! GAME ON Ladies!!

I needed to read this, aging parents are so trying, but you are right, when they show affection and gratitude is makes it all worth it. I go thru the same emotions with my mom. And then it is always so worth it. Good for you, hugs!

Amen to being happy and doing everything we can,and more. Good attitude, and I loved your blog girl. You seem like a very special person with a very special heart. Best of luck to you, buddy!
I took care of both my parents in their last years. I was in the w/c when I was caring for my father, but I got to know him better then I ever had, I still didn’t understand him, but will always be glad I was there. It is so hard when you have your parents and your children and spouse to worry about, all at the same time. But the rewards are there, too. LOVE. Two of my sons have wives that are very ill. Now maybe you understand why I call cabs to get around. They have their hands full. Trying to be independent Marge.
I love your attitude. Thank you for the upbeat entry!
What’s going on? Between yours and Shan’s blog, I have gotten a dose of inspiration!! You are both absolutely right…you’re in the right frame of mind and your hearts are in a good place. I am beaming with pride, for I have two wonderful and enchanting buddies!
GAME ON !!! You bet! Love those workouts Jane. It is literally going to save our behinds….hehe And doesn’t it just put a smile on our faces? Love it.
Hope everything is well with you otherwise. Yes? Now, let’s get moving
*hugs*
