Have a safe and happy Labor Day everyone!
Nothing much happening here. Just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a happy 3 day weekend…YIPPEE!!!
Have fun with your barbeques…remember a Turkey Burger is only 160 calories opposed to a regular hamburger which is around 300 calories!! Buy the Jenni-o seasoned burgers…YUM YUM…and diet friendly!!
Went to cardiac Rehabilitation today. Only 7 people showed up, must be because of the long weekend. Had a good workout…made it 45 minutes!
Kids moving in tommorrow, should be interesting!!! But I’m anxious and ready for anything that might come along! Ready for all the food temptations…..thank you all for your suggestions. I really appreciate it!!
Have fun out there…eat healthy….play nice…and stay safe!!

You have a safe and happy holiday weekend as well! I’m so glad you are completing the cardiac rehab program–good for you! Keep up the great job!!!
Have a good weekend. I am off to the NYS Fair tomorrow. I’ll remember you tip about the Turkey Burger……. LOL take care
Good for you doing so great with your cardio. And I love those turkey burgers. I was buying the fresh kind and I recently bought the frozen patties and they taste better for some reason. Have a healthy weekend!
Likewise kiddo!!
Great job!! You go Girl!

Yes, Turkey Burgers……mmmmmmmm that is what I am having at my BBQ this weekend!
Have a good one!
I hope you have a great weekend as well!
I haven’t tried a turkey burger yet. I’ve tried Turkey Pepperoni, and that is VERY good. I was actually surprised. I don’t think I’ll be hitting any barbecue’s this weekend. I’ve not been very good the last few days, and I’m afraid I’ll eat a slab of ribs or something.
Enjoy the last long weekend of the summer!
Celia

45 minutes is great for cardio! Good job! Actually, aim for 3 more minutes, because, according to research, people who exercise 48 minutes a day lose 500% more weight than people who exercise less than that, even if those who exercise less do intense cardio and those who exercise 48 minutes only take a stroll.
My food temptation trick is… either: brushing my teeth right before the sweets come out, or using breath spray or taking a powerful mint. All of them seem to decrease the craving for sweets especially.
