Flex to Core

Computer I’m not doing well at all with the Flex plan.  Counting points seems easy enough. My choices are really bad and it seems I’m always hungry.  I have a friend online who attends Weight Watchers weekly.  She is on the Core plan and isn’t feeling hungry all the time.  So given that I’m going to try the Core plan.  Unfortunately I have quite a few WW frozen meals in the freezer.  Maybe I’ll start the Core next week.

Any opinions on the 2 plans?  Has anyone experienced what I am?  the being hungry all the time.  I loved the freedom of the points but the weight just isn’t coming off fast enough for me.

Hubby and I attended the all day educational seminar for Healthy Hearts yesterday.  We enjoyed it, learned alot about healthy eating and exercise.  Its time to put it all into action.

Wishing everyone out in BuddySlim a good day…healthy choices and weight loss for all!!

I have never tried the core plan. The thing with the Flex plan is that you need to make sure that you are choosing good food for your points, fruits and veggies and such instead of chips and things like that because you can have them. The flex plan I think allows you to be more flexible but you still have to make the good choices for it to work. I run into that rut all the time. I am eating my points and not losing weight or I am hungry all the time and it is because some of my points selections are high in points and just empty calories. I hope this helps

I agree with aggal….when doing points, sometimes people feel they are OP (on program) just because they are eating at their target…meanwhile they are not doing their healthy 8’s, drinking enough water, eating fruits, etc.
Now Core……I think it truly presses the issue to eat better, but gives you the freedom of still having those 35 allowance pts for a treat or something that is non core.

I am not sure if you already have it or not, but try to get the complete food companion as that really is a great source of what is core or not.

I have never done WW so I can’t help you there. I am glad both you and your hubby learned a lot of useful things at your Healthy Heart seminar!
    Have a good one!

I do flex because I don’t like enough core foods to do core. I do find myself hungry all the time on the flex plan. Doesn’t matter if I eat all the ‘right’ healthy foods or if I just have my daily points in donuts. I always try to eat the most filling (low point) foods I can find. Somedays are okay - most days I am hungry.
Water when I drink it does help although I’m not a big water fan.
GOOD LUCK!!! Let us know what you decide :)
